历史沿革[edit]
村民迁来此地时沿用旧地名，村名便定为华口。[1]
明代属沙县仪奉团，清代沿袭旧制。1953年一度归张田乡，1972年设华口磊队驻地；1974年划归湖源乡，成为其所辖华口保的驻地；1984年起为华口村委会驻地。[1]
2024年7月，华口村获评「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」，同月又被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
