历史沿革[edit]
明代村域属十五都。新中国成立前为高桂乡池村保，建国后划入高桥区新桥乡。1958年设池村大队，隶属高桥人民公社，之后又划归富口公社。1984年改设富口乡池村村委会，1993年起称富口镇池村村委会。[2]
人口民族[edit]
全村178户667人，党员38人，设4个村民小组，主要姓氏有李、陆、连等。[1]
文化[edit]
2011年，池村获得沙县第十一届文明村称号。2024年7月，池村被确定为「2021—2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[2]
