荷山村位于富口镇西北部，平均海拔800米，距集镇约20千米，距沙县城区约35千米。村为革命老区基点村，自称「中央红军村」，境内的荷山中央红军东方军旧址群为省级文物保护单位。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村域旧属十一都，民国年间划归富溪乡，新中国成立初设一区荷山乡，1951年改属第八区，1955年归富口区。1958年10月，荷山成为东风人民公社荷山大队；1961年隶柳坑公社，1963年改隶富口公社；1984年设富口乡荷山村委会。[2]

闽赣边游击纵队曾以荷山为主要根据地之一；闽赣边地委设立后，荷山成为主要据点，革命工作持续多年。[2]

1933至1934年间，彭德怀、杨尚昆等率中央红军东方军驻扎荷山村，人数最多时超过一万人。[3][1]

地理环境[edit]

村辖上宝山、横历2个自然村，村名因境内山形如荷叶得名。全村土地面积33515亩，林业用地29424亩，其中毛竹林9299亩。[2][1]

人口民族[edit]

全村344户1878人，党员52名，主要姓氏有陈、罗、邓、卢。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

旧址群由造币所、红军亭、红军井、红军医院、通讯站，以及司令部与红军墓等遗迹组成。司令部旧址原为供奉马氏仙娘的新庵庙，建筑坐北朝南，天井两侧厢房曾为彭德怀等红三军团主要领导人的居所。[3][2]

荷山红色旅游景区已创建为「国家3A级旅游景区」，旧址群为省级文物保护单位。[1]

文化[edit]

2017年8月，荷山村列入「福建省第二批省级传统村落」名录；荷山村于2021年11月获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号；2021年12月，荷山村被命名为「2021年度福建省森林村庄」。[2]
