历史沿革[edit]
村域古属十都，民国时期隶属富溪乡。中华人民共和国成立后，1951年设一区延溪乡，1952年改属第八区，1955年归富口区。1958年4月区乡合并，同年10月隶东风人民公社延溪大队；1961年改称富口人民公社延溪大队。[2]
1984年撤社设乡后，本村为富口乡延溪村委会；1993年起称富口镇延溪村委会。[2]
人口民族[edit]
全村460户1644人，党员44人，主要姓氏有魏、陈、卢、朱、周、黄、姜、杨。[1]
经济[edit]
村里推广水稻制种、烟叶、蔬菜、果树等产业，并鼓励村民外出务工或经营沙县小吃。[2]
文化[edit]
延溪村于2021年11月获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号；2022年10月，省农业农村厅将延溪村认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」；2024年7月，延溪村被确定为「2021—2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[2]
