2024年7月，被命名为「2023年度三明市达标六无村（社区）」，同月又被确定为「2021—2023年三明市达标六无村（社区）」。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

村民在山窠池塘旁聚居，村因此得名池窠。[3]

古时属十五都。新中国成立前为高桂乡池村保，此后归高桥区新墟乡。1956年划入夏茂区，1958年隶属夏茂公社，1961年改属梨树公社，设池窠大队。1984年改设池窠村委会，2002年梨树乡撤销后，池窠村并入高桥镇。[4]
