高砂村是高砂集镇所在的村，镇政府驻此。鹰厦铁路、205国道与沙溪航运并列穿越村境。下属高砂、渡头、池仓、官蟹四个自然村。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

古时沿河泥沙冲积成高地，村名由此而来。[4]

历史沿革[edit]

明代属五都。1940年设高砂乡高砂保，解放初为高砂区高砂乡。[3]

1958年设高砂大队，1984年改设高砂村村委会，沿用至今。[3]

林地13228亩、耕地702亩，全村土地合计14931亩。[1]

据2025年4月的村情简介，全村560户、1745人。[1]

荣誉[edit]
