冲厚村地处205国道附近，距沙县城区约15千米。村内有冲厚、青窠、邓坑、桥头、岩凤、原头六个自然村。[1][2][5]

村名由「亭后」的方言同音变来，指位于五里亭之后。[4]

历史沿革[edit]

明朝时期属三都。1940年设青溪乡冲后保，解放初期归高砂区珠墩洋乡。[3]

1954年设冲厚乡；1958年设冲厚大队，归高砂公社；1984年成立冲厚村村委会。[3]

地理环境[edit]

耕地2402亩、林地15748亩，全村土地合计21456亩。[1]

据2025年4月的村情简介，全村582户、2357人。[1]

荣誉[edit]

福建省农业农村厅在2022年10月把冲厚村列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[2]

2024年7月，冲厚村入选「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[2]
