龙慈村位于高砂镇西北部，距集镇约6.8千米，鹰厦铁路与京福高速公路贯穿全境。村内有龙慈、东坑坂、大际、小坑、廷坑五个自然村。[1][2]

古称「鸬鹚」，据百度百科，因龙脉即山形似鸬鹚而得名。[2][4]

历史沿革[edit]

明朝时期属五都。1949年8月划归高砂区，1958年设龙慈大队，1984年改设龙慈村村委会。[3]

村内耕地1318亩、林地22771亩，全村土地合计25315亩。[1]

据2025年4月的村情简介，全村301户、1220人。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，龙慈村获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[2]
