长阜村位于夏茂镇中西部，距集镇约3公里。村名取「长阜」二字，有愿村子发展长远、境内富足的寓意（据博雅地名网）。[2]

2017年政府页称：村中有6个自然村，即长阜主村、黄历、回窑、元沟、田中央与洋后；14个村民小组，613户，人口2830人，张、罗、林居多。全村土地12353.55亩，林地7238亩，耕地2696.48亩。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年2月，长阜村获司法部、民政部公布的「第八批全国民主法治示范村（社区）」称号；2021年10月，农业农村部推介它为「2021年中国美丽休闲乡村」；2021年11月，村庄获「2021年福建省卫生村」的命名。[2]
