后垄村位于夏茂镇西部，距集镇约6公里。村名因村后有一片大田垄而得名。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

村庄古属十八都，新中国成立后归岩观乡管辖。1981年6月自成大队，1984年改设后垄村村民委员会，沿用至今。[2]

人口与土地[edit]

2017年政府页称，村内6个村民小组共204户，834人，多为林姓。全村土地10242.6亩，其中林地5974亩，耕地667.96亩。[1]
