乐厝村位于夏茂镇北部，距集镇约4公里。村名中的「乐」为姓氏，据博雅地名网，乐姓祖先早年在此开基定居。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
原属十六都；新中国成立后隶夏茂区的一个乡。1958年10月，由乡级改为生产大队，归夏茂公社辖制；1984年改称乐厝村村民委员会，名称延续至今。[2]
人口与土地[edit]
2017年政府页列出的自然村有前乐厝、白溪、樟墘、中尾庵、湖婆地共5个。全村编为10个村民小组，460户、1698人；罗、廖两姓居多。土地23843.55亩，林地17434亩，耕地1964.53亩。[1]
