管前村位于青州镇南部，属革命老区基点村和库区移民村。村中的乐氏祖厝在1934年1月曾作红3军团司令部驻地。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历：古时村中设有书馆和饭馆，名称后来演变为管前。[2]

早先归沙县的二都，建国前称青溪乡管前保。1958年并入万能公社，次年改名高砂公社下的管前大队；1961年划入渔珠公社，1963年再回高砂公社；1972年划归青州公社，称管前大队，1984年才定名为青州镇管前村。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

「红3军团司令部遗址」即乐氏祖厝，位于村内，距村部约200米。1934年1月，红3军团进攻沙县县城，红4师在青州一带阻击从延平赶来的敌军。16日，红3军团司令部移驻管前乐氏祖厝，以便靠近战场指挥侧击；彭德怀、杨尚昆在此签发了攻取沙县的命令。[3]

村内有省级一般不可移动文物「管前真定山战壕」。[1]

文化[edit]

2021年11月，省爱卫办确定管前村为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2021年12月，管前村入选「福建省第二批高级版绿盈乡村（乡镇）」。[2]
