地理环境[edit]
村庄西北面为东牙溪水库。村内果园以油桃、柑桔为主，另有毛竹林3400亩，国家级生态公益林1311亩。[1][2]
人口民族[edit]
百度百科记2017年1月的统计为505人、116户，村民小组两个。博雅地名网则记为1个自然村。[3][1]
名胜古迹[edit]
中村窑遗址散布于村内一带的山岗坡地，占地约120万平方米。窑场大约在北宋中后期开始烧造，南宋时最盛，明初渐停，以青白瓷为主。[5][6]
1993年至1994年，曾对草寮后山窑址作了两次发掘，揭露出龙窑、陶洗池、制坯作坊与神龛等遗迹。[4]
据百度百科，2013年3月5日国务院的公告将其列入全国重点文物保护单位，批次为第七批；博雅地名网记列入时间为2013年5月。两说并存。[5][4]
历史沿革[edit]
博雅地名网记本村曾是宋元时期的古窑遗址。1958年此地设回瑶林果场；公社化后划入中村公社，设回瑶大队。[1]
1983年此地设中村办事处下的回瑶村，1987年撤办事处建乡，回瑶村改设村民委员会。[1]
文化[edit]
荣誉方面，本村2015年10月被纳入「福建省第一批省级传统村落」，2021年4月获「2021年三明市民主法治示范村（社区）」称号，2021年11月获「2021年福建省卫生村」称号，2024年7月入选「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」名单。[1]
