地理环境[edit]
全村占地8601亩，耕地1239亩，森林7362亩；森林中毛竹占2129亩，另有生态公益林1988亩。[2]
人口民族[edit]
村内辖3个自然村、5个村民小组，博雅地名网记现有178户647人，未注统计年份。[2]
经济[edit]
粮食作物以水稻为主。经济作物中，毛竹、笋干之外，药材种植面积约2300亩，品种以七叶一枝花、杜仲、厚朴、黄精、草珊瑚为主；村里还种西红柿、辣椒、四季豆与花椰菜等反季节蔬菜。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
村内留有一座宋代祠庙，名为蓬仙岩。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
此地解放于1950年。之后村内先办互助组，继而成立初级社，1954年转为高级社。[1]
公社化时期，本村划归中村公社并设坑源大队；1983年此地改设中村办事处，村名保留；1987年撤办事处建乡，坑源村随即改设村民委员会。[1]
文化[edit]
荣誉方面，本村2024年1月获「2023年福建省卫生村」称号，同年7月入选「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」名单。[1]
