大焙坑村位于福建省三明市三元区中村乡东部，村庄坐落在大众山（海拔1204.9米）山脚下，距乡政府约12公里，属革命老区村。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

村庄海拔701米，耕地697亩，山林7000多亩，全村土地合计8000多亩。[1]

人口民族[edit]

博雅地名网记全村130户464人，未注统计年份；下辖2个自然村，即贡弄坑与山峰岩。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

大众山游击据点遗址在村东约300米处。1944年春以后，大田一带局势趋紧，闽西北党组织与游击队选定大田、永安、沙县、三元四县交界处的大焙坑村作新据点，设交通站，并培养了本地积极分子；村中群众为游击队运送粮菜，传递消息。[3]

1945年5月，一支游击队于尤溪石头坑受敌袭击，突围后撤至大焙坑据点休整，留下数名伤员，由村民护理约半年，伤愈后归队。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

1944年，林志群所领导的队伍，约有五十余人，在中村乡一带活动，并于大众山周边的山区展开游击战。[1]

此地过去属沙县，1940年归三元管辖；1950年初解放，属三元县第三区，称大焙坑乡。公社化后划归中村公社，设大焙坑大队；1983年改设中村办事处下的大焙坑村，1987年撤办事处建乡，改设村民委员会。[1]

文化[edit]

荣誉方面，本村2024年1月获「2023年福建省卫生村」称号，同年7月入选「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」名单。[1]
