地理环境[edit]
村庄海拔555米，林地8275亩，耕地918亩；村民收入主要靠毛竹和笋干。[1]
人口民族[edit]
博雅地名网记全村555人，百度百科记567人，两者均未注统计年份。全村下辖5个自然村，即前甲峰、小坑源、吉畲、黄竹坑、半溪；行政村驻地在前甲峰。[1][2]
名胜古迹[edit]
历史上著名的「铲平王」邓茂七，其故居遗址位于村内黄竹坑小组境内。[1][2]
经济[edit]
三明市委、市政府曾授予本村「竹业开发十佳乡（镇）村」称号，时在2004年8月；1998年，本村也获三明市的毛竹村表彰。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
公社化时期，此地划入中村公社，设吉峰大队；1983年改设中村办事处下的吉峰村，1987年撤办事处建乡，吉峰村改设村民委员会至今。[1][2]
文化[edit]
荣誉方面，本村2024年1月获「2023年福建省卫生村」称号，2024年7月入选「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」名单。[1]
