米洋村位于福建省三明市三元区中村乡境内，临306省道三郊线，距市区约17公里，距乡政府约4公里，是中村乡较小的一个建制村。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

此地地势平坦、土质肥沃，稻谷年年丰收，因而得名。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村落面积1.5平方公里，海拔475米；山地4000亩，毛竹山3400亩，耕地550亩，森林覆盖率据称在80%以上。[1][2]

人口民族[edit]

博雅地名网记全村88户365人，分为4个村民小组，未注统计年份。[1]

经济[edit]

村内以毛竹、笋干为主要产物，蔬菜、烟叶与槟榔芋也是农户的产品。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1940年三元设县后，此地属县辖区；建国初期划入第三区公所。公社化时期划入中村公社，设米洋大队。[1]

1983年此地设中村办事处下的米洋村，1987年撤办事处建乡，米洋村改设村民委员会至今。[1]

2009年，三明军分区与本村结对共建，本村成为全市有代表性的军民共建村。[2]

文化[edit]

荣誉方面，本村2013年7月获省委、省政府、省军区授予「爱国拥军模范单位」称号；2020年12月入选「2020年福建省森林村庄」名单，并入选「2020年度福建省“一村一品”示范村（富硒火焰蔘）」名单；2021年12月被确定为「福建省第二批高级版绿盈乡村（乡镇）」；2024年7月入选「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」名单。[2]
