地名由来[edit]
古时忠山里又称十八寨。相传忠山自然村寨位于十八个山寨的中间，村因此得名。[1]
地理与人口[edit]
村子在坂星路沿线，距市区37公里，距集镇所在地17公里。博雅地名网所载全村438户1736人（年份未注），山林面积17242亩，耕地2577亩。百度百科则载人口2011人，面积2.86万亩，两者年份均未注。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
旧时村子隶属永安，古称忠山里；解放前为三元县莘口区下的岩前忠山乡。1950年1月获得解放，之后经历互助组、初级社，直至高级农业合作社。1958年公社化后归岩前公社，建忠山大队。1983年起由岩前办事处领导，设忠山村；1987年恢复乡制，村中设民委员会，1992年后为岩前镇忠山村民委员会。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
村内的古建筑群共七处，其中有永兴庵一座庵，数座祠堂，另有隆武桥、陈家大院与庄述富民居等民居建筑。2018年，它进入福建省第九批省级文物保护单位名录。[2][3]
许瑞芳故居位于村内。许瑞芳1906年生于江西崇仁，幼年随父迁居忠山村，1926年加入中国共产党。[4]
红7军团军团部旧址位于村中路陈家大院旁的民房内，与1934年4月红7军团在闽西北苏区的活动相关。[4]
忠山乡农会旧址位于村西南的先贤祠内。1934年4月，红7军团的一个连留在村中，宣传动员群众，帮助建立党支部、农会和苏维埃政府。[4]
荣誉[edit]
2014年2月，村子被收入「第六批中国历史文化名村」名单；2014年11月，村子列入「第三批中国传统村落」名录。[1]
2021年11月，省爱卫办授予忠山村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。2022年10月，省农业农村厅把忠山村列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。2022年12月，省绿化委员会授予忠山村「2022年福建省森林村庄」称号。2025年11月，忠山村被认定为「福建省第二批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[1]
