增坊村是福建省三明市三元区岩前镇下辖的行政村，位于三明市区西北部，距镇所在地12公里，下辖三个自然村。村名由旧地名曾方改来，改名与清代后期人口迁入有关。[1]
地名由来[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，旧时当地村民以曾、张、杨、高四姓为主，原地名曾方。清朝后期，安溪、永春两地的人陆续迁来定居，原住民逐步迁走，村名遂改为增坊。[1]
自然村与人口[edit]
村子下辖三个自然村，共有16个村民小组。全村601户1801人（年份未注），山林面积约2.5万亩，耕地2328亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清代这里为增坊保。1950年后设增坊乡，1958年人民公社化时期隶属岩前公社，成立增坊大队。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
增坊摩崖石刻位于居洋自然村东南约1公里处。石刻由三块不规整的砂岩组成，排列略呈品字形，占地约24.2平方米，岩面刻有符号。[1]
