历史沿革[edit]
村子旧称党溪。1940年前后，村民提出独立设村，地名随之改为中央溪。[1][2]
1958年人民公社化时期设中央溪大队，隶属莘口公社；1983年改设莘口办事处下的中央溪村，1987年改为村民委员会。[2]
文化[edit]
2024年1月，本村获评「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
