历史沿革[edit]
各姓族谱记载，宋朝中期起，陆续有人从中原迁来此地定居。[1]
据百度百科，民国年间此地属永安县。解放后划归三明县，1958年人民公社化时期设沙阳大队，隶属莘口公社。[1]
1983年，此地归莘口办事处管理并设沙阳村；1987年，村改为村民委员会建制，沿用至今。[1]
经济[edit]
蔬菜生产是本村的特色，村里的一片基地在三元区推行的万亩无公害蔬菜建设中率先被选为示范。村内也有毛竹基地和柑桔基地。[1][2]
文化[edit]
2024年1月，本村获评「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
