砂蕉村位于陈大镇西南部，是镇下属的一个行政村，距三明市区14公里，与明溪县接壤。村中分砂坪、布头、山板坑3个自然村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立前，此地属三元陈保，下设若干甲。1950年成立村，1952年组成初级社。[4]

1955年组建高级社时定名为砂蕉乡，1958年改为砂蕉大队；1983年再设砂蕉乡，1987年改为砂蕉村委会。[4]

村名取自中心的砂坪自然村与邻近村落的名字，各取一字而成。[5]

地理环境[edit]

村域面积，三元区文旅局2023年的介绍记为1800.88公顷，博雅地名网则记为13.3平方千米。[1][2]

耕地1260亩，山林18000亩，水果种植面积996亩。[1]

人口民族[edit]

三元区文旅局2023年的介绍称，砂坪、山板坑和布头三处分别有58户、25户、86户，全村合计169户656人。博雅地名网所载的2012年数字为173户640人。[1][3]

经济[edit]

村里以毛竹生产、蔬菜大棚和水果种植为主。绿园合作社与三明市好多多超市合作，在村里建成10公顷（150亩）的蔬菜大棚基地，实行订单生产，直供超市和酒店。[3]

文化[edit]

村里依托砂坪一带的知青历史，建有知青文化长廊、知青文化馆和知青旧居，并推动「知村·砂蕉」乡村振兴重点项目，发展农村教育和研学体验。[1]

布头的红7军团19师团部旧址，其建筑始于清朝末年，朝向为坐东朝西。据博雅地名网所载，1934年红军工作队驻扎于此，团长王蕴瑞等人曾在此居住并指挥作战，现保存完好。[6]

三元区政府网的镇情介绍写明，砂蕉村入选2024年「闽台乡建乡创合作第二批试点村」。[7]

2021年12月，砂蕉村被命名为「2021年度福建省森林村庄」；2021年11月，又被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[2]

2024年7月，砂蕉村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[2]
