荆东村是福建省三明市三元区荆西街道下辖的行政村，属城乡结合区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名来自村委会所在的荆东自然村。[1]

土改前此地属荆村乡。1958年起，本村划归城东公社，称荆东大队。[1]

1983年此地设荆东村，归城东办事处管辖；1987年改为荆东村民委员会。[1]

荣誉方面，2024年1月，荆东村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」；同年7月，村庄获「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」的称号。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

据维基百科，垂裕祠位于荆东村。该祠始建于南宋嘉定七年（1214年），明嘉靖三十六年（1557年）重建，2005年5月11日被列入福建省第六批文物保护单位。[2]
