荆西村是福建省三明市三元区荆西街道下辖的行政村，属城乡结合区，位于沙溪河畔，距市区约8千米。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名来自当地紫荆树较多、村子位于河的西岸。[1]

此地旧属三元县管辖。1952年起，村里实行自治管理；1958年，正值人民公社化，村先后归莘口公社与城东公社管辖，并组成荆西大队。[1]

1987年改为城东乡，村随之改设荆西村民委员会，此后沿用至今。[1]

荣誉方面，2024年1月，荆西村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」；2024年7月，村庄获「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」，并被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
