富兴社区是富兴堡街道下辖的社区，属主城区。社区居委会所在地位于富兴堡，社区因此得名。2002年8月，原富兴居委会与长兴居委会整合为富兴社区，名称沿用至今。[1] 2021年11月，社区被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生社区」。[1]
