白沙街道位于福建省三明市三元区，在三明市区沙溪河西岸，1980年4月由城关街道析出部分居民区设立。[1][2] 2020年6月城东乡撤销，原属该乡的白沙、台江两村并入白沙街道，街道现辖七个社区居委会和两个行政村。[2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

1980年4月，三明市城关街道划出辖区内白沙一带的居民区，设置白沙街道。[1][2]

城东乡于2020年6月被撤销，其下的白沙村与台江村划归白沙街道，两村从此成为街道辖区的一部分。[2][3]

地理环境[edit]

街道辖区面积约21平方千米，东以列东大桥为界，西邻荆西街道，南临沙溪河，北至北山路一带。[1][2]

人口[edit]

三元区政府网站2024年5月的介绍称，街道人口为3.2万人，内含流动人口1.02万人，该介绍未注明统计年份。[1]

交通[edit]

鹰厦铁路南北穿过街道，辖区内有三明站、三明汽车南站和三元区站，三泉高速公路也经过这里，是三明市的重要交通枢纽。[1][3]

荣誉[edit]

街道先后获得「全国文明单位」称号，所属的白沙派出所获「公安系统青年文明号」，并列入「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单（2021年2月公布）。[1][2]

此外街道还获「全省社会治安综合治理先进集体」「省级首批科普示范街道」「区级五好街道党工委」「区级平安先进乡镇（街道）」等称号。[1]
