城关街道位于福建省三明市区的中心城区，因是三元区人民政府驻地而得名，辖区面积12.85平方千米。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

街道的源头可追溯到1959年9月成立的城关街道办事处。1960年1月，它改为城关公社下属的城关分社。1975年8月，城关街道正式设立。[2]2020年6月，城东乡撤销并入城关街道管辖。[4]

地理环境[edit]

东面以沿山一线为界，西侧临近沙溪河；南面与富兴堡街道毗邻；北端抵达麒麟山脚，全境有205国道通过。[1][3]

荣誉[edit]

街道曾获「平安家庭创建示范社区先进单位」「婚育新风进万家活动先进单位」等荣誉，也获「全国全民健身活动先进单位」称号。[1]

此外，街道被评为「福建省街道之星」「社区建设示范街道」，获「第七次全国人口普查突出贡献集体」「省级文明单位」等称号，并获「第二批全省基层“五好”关工委示范点」和「市级基层应急管理体系和能力建设示范街道」等荣誉。[1]

2021年2月，街道列入「福建省2018—2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[2]
