历史沿革[edit]

1983年9月，三明市城区人民公社撤销，改由梅列、三元两区分别设立蔬菜办公室。[4]1984年，此地改称徐碧办事处；1987年，经福建省民政厅批准设立徐碧乡。[4]2005年6月，徐碧乡并入北门街道，辖区沿用徐碧乡的名称，改为徐碧街道。[2][4]百度百科把这次变动写成徐碧乡直接改为徐碧街道，时间同样记作2005年6月。[1]

地名由来[edit]

“徐碧”两字各有来历：“徐”指居民点徐坊，“碧”指碧湖。博雅地名网认为，这一名称最初指的是徐碧村一带。[4]
