象星村是仙游县菜溪乡下辖的行政村，村委会设在洋头，菜溪乡政府驻地也在村境之内。全村下辖5个自然村，据博雅地名网，总人口1808人。[1]

村名取自象溪洋的七座土墩。溪流经此，七墩排布如星，村因此得名。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期，此地属仙游县浔阳乡。新中国成立后，村地先后归入第九区与第十四区，此后又经石苍区、社硎人民公社辖管。1961年底象溪人民公社成立，此地设象星大队；1984年村民委员会设立，隶属象溪乡。菜溪之名始于2009年2月，此前为象溪乡。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

象星岳王庙位于洋头自然村，主祀岳飞、岳雷、岳云等人，为清代的土木结构建筑。该庙2013年5月列为仙游县第八批县级文物保护单位。[4]

象星村山尾自然村有一座两层土木民居，即闽中游击纵队驻地旧址。1946年间，罗迎祥在此开辟联络站；1947年5月，该纵队在仙游兴太里一带活动时住在这里。[5]

荣誉[edit]

2020年11月，村被认定为2020年度莆田市中级版「绿盈乡村」。2022年12月，经省爱卫会命名，村列为「2022年福建省卫生村」。2023年12月，村被命名为「2023年度福建省森林村庄」。2025年11月，村被认定为「福建省第二批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[1]
