厝洋村位于社硎乡政府东北部，距乡政府约2.5公里。村域包含厝洋、下凉两个自然村，有6个村民小组。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

祖先从莆田城里的赤柱厝场迁来此地，村落发展迅速、房屋众多，故沿用“厝场”之名。新中国成立后，“场”与“洋”两字在莆仙话里读音相近，遂改称厝洋。[1]

旧时隶属兴安乡。新中国成立后，与社硎村合为一社，称“丽星社”。1958年自社硎村分出，设厝洋大队，归社硎公社。1984年后设厝洋村村民委员会，隶属社硎乡。[1]

文化[edit]

2021年11月，厝洋村被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
