田楼村位于社硎乡政府驻地以北约3公里处，村子四周皆山，合计约322.18公顷。原名田峰，后改称田楼。[1][2]

村内4个村民小组依次为新厝、旧厝、石下、过溪。耕地177亩，山地2850亩，以毛竹为主，县道穿村而过。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

相传上祖兄弟数人，小弟到此一边开荒种田，一边管理山林，就在田头搭屋居住，村名因此得来。新中国成立以后，村子只见山峰与林木，又被叫作田峰。[1]

旧时隶属兴安乡。1950年归五区，次年改属八区，1956年划入社硎区，1958年归社硎公社。1985年，田楼村设立村民委员会，隶属社硎乡。[1]
