地名由来[edit]
明末，郑氏三兄弟自东山村迁来此地定居。当初溪水将村子分为前溪与后溪，后人在溪上架起石拱桥，村名便取自此桥。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立前属凤顶乡。此后数次调整隶属，1961年归西苑公社。1984年设立广桥村村民委员会，属西苑乡。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2024年1月，广桥村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
