仙山村是西苑乡的一个行政村，下辖十余个自然村。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村境内有仙游山。传说西汉时何氏九仙修成正果，途中经过的第一座山便是这里，山名与村名都由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国年间此地先属凤顶区。新中国成立后经历数次行政区划调整，1950年代在五区、七区、西苑区与度尾区之间变动。1958年以后，这里成为西苑公社下的仙山大队。1984年10月，设立仙山村村民委员会，村属西苑乡。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，仙山村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
