里洋村在福建省莆田市仙游县游洋镇北部，离镇政府约10公里。该村属莆、仙、永三地交界的革命老区村。[1] 村名原为「里游」，因境内三处地形形似鲤鱼逆游而上，而与「里洋」方言音近，遂以「里洋」为名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
中华人民共和国成立前归古邑乡管辖；解放后划入第6区、第10区，1956年改属麦斜区，1958年归游洋公社。[2]
1984年设村民委员会，隶属游洋乡；1992年游洋乡改制为镇。[2]
地理环境[edit]
村域面积13平方公里。村民住地海拔约550米，全村最高处为1048米，常年平均气温20℃。[1]
村内有毛竹林4000多亩，盛产毛竹，特产苦笋，苦竹林分布在大山林中。[1]
距村5公里处有后溪林水库，为小二型水库。耕地面积有820多亩，多为单季中稻田。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]
「里洋龙穿城」位于后溪林水库附近，为古遗址，是仙游县第二批县级文物保护单位。[2]
