游洋镇位于福建省莆田市仙游县东北部，与涵江区、城厢区相接，北邻永泰县，辖17个行政村。据百度百科，截至2019年末镇域户籍人口31213人。[1] 镇名取自境内的游洋溪，唐代已设镇。[3] 宋元时期这里长期是兴化县的治所，维基百科称其为兴化县裁撤前数百年的县治。[2] 镇内的古邑乡旧址、山坪洋支部遗址等革命旧址，以及兴山村的兴角宫，是较为集中的历史遗存。[3][4]
历史沿革[edit]
游洋镇所在的地方，唐代设镇，宋元时属兴化县管辖，县治在此；元仁宗皇庆元年（1312年）前后，县治迁往莆田新县。[2][3]
民国时期这一带属仙游县古邑乡。中华人民共和国成立后，先后隶属仙游县的第九区、第十区与游洋区，并设麦斜公社。[3]
1955年4月，永泰县梧桐区的一个自然村划入仙游县第十区游洋镇的五星村。[1] 1961年底设游洋人民公社，1984年改为游洋乡。[1][3] 建镇的年份两处记载不同：百度百科作1991年置镇，博雅地名网作1992年撤乡设镇。[1][3]
地理环境[edit]
镇境在仙游县东北部，仙永公路与仙莆公路在镇区交汇。[3] 百度百科记气候为南亚热带山地季风气候，镇域面积一说为134.61平方千米（百度百科）、一说为177.1平方公里（博雅地名网），两者均未注明年份，故暂不取舍。[1][3]

百度百科以2019年末的户籍统计计，镇域户籍人口31213人。[1] 博雅地名网另载镇域人口约1.56万人、约3.4万人两个数字，均未注明年份，与前者口径不同，不作比较。[3]

农业以水稻、水果和竹木为主，乡镇企业以商贸、运输及饮食服务为主。[3]
博雅地名网列出的特产，以莆田荔枝、兴化桂圆为首，另有度尾文旦柚，以及兴化米粉与金沙薏米。[3]
文化[edit]
百度百科称游洋镇是辜姓的起源地：辜姓出自比干后裔，以游洋一带的地名小沽水、辜山、辜岭命姓。[1]
镇政府驻地在游洋村，该村的游洋登瀛堂与洋惠政桥旧址，据博雅地名网分别列为一般不可移动文物点和仙游县第一批县级文物保护单位。[4]
名胜古迹[edit]
在游洋村桥头自然村，留有「攻打古邑乡公所战斗旧址」「古邑乡人民政府旧址」「古邑破仓分粮旧址」等革命旧址，均为1949年前后的遗存。[3]
「中共仙游山坪洋支部遗址」位于霞峰村的山坪洋自然村；「莆仙永边界苏维埃政府旧址」位于鲁头村的汪洋自然村。[3]
兴角宫在兴山村上宫自然村，据百度百科始建于唐代，2013年1月被公布为福建省第八批省级文物保护单位。[5]
荣誉[edit]
2011年4月，环境保护部授予游洋镇「2011年度国家级生态乡镇」称号。[3]
2021年3月，游洋镇被确定为「莆田市第十五届市级文明村镇（社区）」。[3]
福建省农业农村厅于2022年10月作出认定，游洋镇列入「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[3]
2024年1月，游洋镇被命名为「2023年福建省卫生乡镇」。[3]
