麦斜村是钟山镇下辖的行政村，村境内的麦斜岩是仙游县四大景点之一，也是中国工农红军第108团的旧址所在。[1][2][3]

村名与麦斜岩有关：据《游洋志》与乾隆《仙游县志》，唐初僧人自永曾在麦斜岩寺驱邪祈福，「灭邪」一词与「麦斜」同音，后来此地遂称麦斜。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

麦斜岩主峰海拔1006.5米，岩石群与洞穴密布，宋代理学家林光朝称之为「小武夷山」。[2]

中国工农红军第108团旧址位于麦斜岩，1930年10月，邓子恢在此组建红军第108团。该旧址于2001年列为莆田市首批爱国主义教育基地。[2][3]

麦斜岩摩崖石刻位于麦斜岩风景区，类别为石窟寺及石刻。[1]

2023年9月，麦斜村被认定为「2023年莆田市一村一品专业村」，主导产业为柑橘。[1]
