湖亭村是钟山镇下辖的行政村，境内有九鲤湖等旅游资源。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内的闽中游击纵队驻地旧址位于院前自然村，与1947年前后闽中游击纵队（亦称戴云纵队）的活动相关，属革命旧址。[1]

村内另有龙屺寺，列为仙游县一般不可移动文物点。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年2月，湖亭村被司法部、民政部公布为第八批「全国民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]

2021年11月，获福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2025年6月，被认定为「2025年莆田市一村一品专业村」，主导产业为麦冬。[1]
