历史沿革[edit]
中华人民共和国成立前，此地属慈孝乡。1950年改隶第三区，1951年转属十二区，1956年归枫亭区，1958年并入园庄公社。1984年设园庄村委会，2019年1月村改为社区，划归园庄镇管辖。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
社区的名胜有古马山水库、枫慈溪公园与慈善孝文化长廊。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
2024年1月，园庄社区获评「2023年福建省卫生社区」。[2]
