斜尾村位于仙游县东部，处于顶洋山麓南面的盆地中，辖6个自然村、16个村民小组。赖榜公路穿过村域东南部。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村落地势由北向南逐渐降低，形如斜坡，故名斜尾。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立前此地属香北乡，1958年归盖尾公社，1984年改设斜尾村民委员会，隶属盖尾乡；1992年属盖尾镇。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

斜尾郑远墓位于村中“铜老年”山顶东侧，为仙游县第三批县级文物保护单位。[4]
