后井村位于盖尾镇北端，地处群山之间，北与九龙谷国家森林公园接壤，南与东许村毗邻，辖6个自然村。[1]
地名由来[edit]
明朝末年，林氏由涵井迁居此地。村址位于涵井之后，故称后井。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立前此地属香北乡，1958年归盖尾公社，1984年改设后井村民委员会，隶属盖尾乡；1992年属盖尾镇。[3]
经济[edit]
村域林地面积较大，主要种植马尾松。果园多种枇杷与龙眼，耕地主要种水稻、蔬菜与甘蔗。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
后井永盛社为近现代建筑，属仙游县一般不可移动文物点。[4]
