此村位于盖尾镇的西北角，辖7个自然村，设17个村民小组。村子一侧与东许村为邻，南面紧挨岭头村。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村子四周群山环抱、四季常青，整体形如众星拱月，故名星庄。1958年村中大部分旧厝拆迁，新建房屋的地方被称为新庄；“新”与“星”方言同音，遂改称星庄。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年设星庄大队，隶属盖尾人民公社。1984年改设星庄村民委员会，隶属盖尾乡；1992年属盖尾镇。[3]
教育[edit]
星庄小学创办于1950年，前身为仙游县岭头中心完全小学，1968年改称星庄小学。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
村中的仙印山与虎头山相对而立。相传有神仙曾游此地，在山上留下脚印，后人称之为仙印山，村内的仙望自然村即因此得名。[1]
虎头山下的仿古建筑群为兴化十三宫的主庙，大雄宝殿中供奉宋代将领杨立郎。[1]

2024年1月，该村入选「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
