仙溪村位于盖尾镇东部，与莆田市华亭镇为邻，村内辖有尾厝、拜溪、傅厝、蔡路四个自然村。东面以仙游第一山为界。[1]
地名由来[edit]
相传有神仙居于木兰溪畔，以此传说取名仙溪。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立前此地属香北乡。1955年属盖尾区，1958年归盖尾公社，1984年改设仙溪村民委员会，隶属盖尾乡。1992年属盖尾镇。[3]
地理环境[edit]
仙游第一山横断莆仙交界，山上有仙正寺。在山顶可俯瞰木兰溪及周边村落。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
仙溪第一山石刻位于第一山山麓西南侧，列为「仙游县第一批县级文物保护单位」，保护范围是石刻四周向外延伸6米。[1][4]
文化[edit]
2005年，该村被莆田市授予平安村称号；2006年获莆田市授予人民调解示范村称号，2007年又获省级同类称号。[1]
