仙华村位于盖尾镇东部，地处木兰溪南岸，辖6个自然村，是盖尾镇第二大行政村。[1]

地名由来[edit]

仙华村在新中国成立前称花沟村，因一条花沟贯穿全境而得名。新中国成立后先后设华山村与仙兴村，1953年两村合并，各取首字，定名仙华。[2]

人口民族[edit]

明洪武二年起，郑、王、陈、凌、蔡等姓陆续由外地迁入。村中曾有十八个姓氏共同居住，其中陈、王两姓人口占全村的大半。陈姓奉陈靖姑为神，王姓尊开闽王王审知。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

仙华追远堂位于三片自然村，为古建筑，列为仙游县第五（一期）批县级文物保护单位。[1][3]
