留仙村位于赖店镇内，村名的来历是一个传说：九位仙人到九鲤湖游览，其中一位经过内南安时在村口溪底的岩石上留下脚印，村名由此而来。[1][2]

据百度百科，村域下辖十个自然村，其中赖厝自然村住着近两百名赖姓居民。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

中华人民共和国成立前，此地为留仙保。解放后先归一区付园乡，继而划入二区象岭乡，1952年改隶山尾区，1956年入城关区锦田乡，1958年归赖店公社。1962年成为公社下的留仙大队；1984年后设留仙村民委员会，隶赖店乡；1992年随镇属赖店镇。[1]

据百度百科，村中主导产业为柚茶种植和产品加工。[2]

文化[edit]

2015年10月，留仙村入选「福建省第一批省级传统村落」。2022年10月，村庄被认定为「2022年度莆田市中级版绿盈乡村」，同月又被福建省农业农村厅认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。2024年1月，村庄被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
