张埔村位于赖店镇南部，地势平坦，村名来自明代由泉州市罗溪张埔村迁来定居的一支人家。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明代，一支人家从泉州市罗溪镇的张埔村迁居至此，村名由此得来。[1][2]

新中国成立前，此地归城南乡。新中国成立后，先归一区，又改属二区，1956年并入城关区，1958年转隶赖店公社。1962年改属其下的闽声大队；1984年设张埔村委会，1992年随镇设置而属赖店镇。[1][2]

经济[edit]

村内耕作以龙眼、枇杷种植为主。[2]

文化[edit]

2024年1月，张埔村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

张埔陈燮墓位于石碑兜自然村的陈墓山山脚，是古墓葬，属仙游县第二批县级文物保护单位。[1][2]
