赖店镇在福建省莆田市仙游县的中南部，木兰溪南岸，镇政府设在南丰中街1号。镇域东与盖尾、郊尾两镇毗连，南接园庄镇，西北与鲤南镇相邻。[2][3]
博雅地名网记有一种说法：明代赖姓人家迁居此地，渐成大族，族人在此开铺经营，市面因之得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
宋至元时期，今镇境分属修德乡、嘉禾乡和孝仁里；民国年间，境内归城南乡与孝仁乡管辖。[1]
1949年以后，此地先后归一区、二区、山尾区和城关区管辖。1958年9月，此地设立公社；1984年12月复为乡制，乡名仍为赖店；1992年11月，乡改为镇。[1][2]
地理环境[edit]
镇域位于仙游县南部，木兰溪南岸，三郊公路穿境而过。[1]
两种资料所载面积不同：百度百科作80.08平方千米，博雅地名网作96.1平方千米。两者都没有注明统计年份，故本条目取百度百科的数字。[1][2]
人口民族[edit]
据百度百科，截至2019年末，镇内户籍人口为70237人。[2]
博雅地名网称赖店镇为仙游县最大的侨乡之一。[1]
经济[edit]
2012年12月，赖店镇获得「2010—2011年度国家级生态乡镇」的称号，颁授单位为环境保护部。[1]
2021年3月，赖店镇被确定为「莆田市第十五届市级文明村镇（社区）」。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
龙兴村白马自然村内是仙游县农民代表大会会址，该旧址属革命旧址，与1933年前后中共仙游县委的工作有关。[4]
南区支部在罗山书院成立，成立时间为1927年秋末，首任书记为傅子耀；此后书院也成为支部的活动据点。该旧址在罗峰村下亭自然村。[4]
山尾村的鸣峰岩上建有鸣峰寺，是本县第一批县级文物。玉墩村寨里自然村有朱绂少保祠，为第六批县级文物。[4]
坂头村的锦坂祠堂与罗峰村祠堂边自然村的罗峰傅氏祠堂，同属一般不可移动文物。[4]
著名人物[edit]
孝仁里人傅楫，字元通，生卒年为1041年至1101年，1067年中进士，起初在扬州担任司户参军。[1]
傅佇，字凝远，1118年登第，授山东无棣县主簿之职，卒于1148年。[1]
