瑞园村位于鲤南镇东南方，仙港大道两侧，紧邻瑞峰工业园区。村域东侧与盖尾镇接壤，南侧与赖店镇留仙村为界。[1]

村前身为1958年底成立的仙游县综合农场，2018年7月农场完成改制后，瑞园村委会随之设立，归鲤南镇。[1][2]

原为仙游县综合农场，是县直国营农场，1958年底成立，地界横跨现在的鲤南镇、盖尾镇和赖店镇三个乡镇。2018年7月农场完成改制后，瑞园村委会随之设立，归鲤南镇。[1]
