象坂村位于仙游县城南部，距县城三点五公里多，北面接城南开发区，南面临古洋水库，村域土地面积约2平方千米。[1]

地名因村落位于天马山与龙岗山南侧的丘陵坡地，周边山形如大象，故称“象坂”。以前这里盛产甘蔗，是炼糖的蔗埔。2002年9月起属鲤南镇。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

建国前此地隶属孝仁乡。建国初归六区，1950年改属一区，1951年划入十一区，1956年并入城关区。1957年组成幸福高级社，此后于1958年归入大运乡，1959年才另建象坂大队。1984年设象坂村，隶龙华乡；2002年9月，因区划调整改属鲤南镇。[1]

农业[edit]

粮食作物以水稻、甘薯为主，经济作物有花生、黄豆和蔬菜，土特产有草菇、巴西菇。改革开放后，村民外出经商开饭店的户数超过半数。[1]

文物[edit]

象坂张子福旧居位于村中，为仙游县一般不可移动文物点。[1]
