象林村位于鲤南镇东南角，东与象运村接壤，西邻龙华镇，南靠企圳山，北与象运村毗邻，距县城和镇政府约三公里。村域面积3.6平方千米，辖五个自然村、十六个村民小组。[1][3]

地名取自地势宛如大象入林。归属鲤南镇的时间为2002年9月，原因是区划调整。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋、元、明、清时期隶属仙游仁德里；民国时期改属仙游县仁德乡，称象林保。建国初分为象林、象新两个大队，1958年10月人民公社成立后，二者合为象林生产队。象林村民委员会于1984年10月设立。2002年9月，本村改归鲤南镇。[1]

耕地与产业[edit]

博雅地名网载，村中耕地约1200多亩，水田占七成半，以稻米为主；山地1700多亩，多种经济林木，并产出铁观音茶。改革开放后，全村有数百人北上南下经商，多经营餐饮。[2]

民居与景观[edit]

村中的象林林氏民居位于新厝，为仙游县一般不可移动文物点。村内还保留着四五百年前建造的连体土木结构“张厝”七处。[1][2]

企圳山中峰下有一处瀑布，大石上有传为神仙所留的“仙脚迹”。[2]

荣誉[edit]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月授予象林村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号；2021年12月，象林村被命名为「2021年度福建省森林村庄」；2022年10月，省农业农村厅认定象林村为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」；2025年11月，象林村被认定为「福建省第二批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[1]
