仙安社区位于木兰溪南岸，与仙游县城一水之隔，是鲤南镇政府驻地所在。地名因境内有仙安府宫庙而得，原为仙安村。[1][3]

城南新区开发以来，社区耕地已全部被征用，七百余户因拆迁迁出，村改居于2015年4月11日完成。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

这里的聚落形成于明清两代。村委会设立于1984年，此后1991年改归城东乡管辖，2002年以后归鲤南镇。2002年城东镇驻地迁入此地，镇名随后改为鲤南。[1][3]

人口与土地[edit]

博雅地名网载，全村分为十二个自然村、十五个村民小组，总计1060户、3986人，耕地2160亩；社区有党员106人。这些数字均未注年份。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

池头自然村中的潘涛烈士故居，为中共仙游县委早年设立的地下联络点之一。[1]
